What types of jars can PandaGrip open?

PandaGrip can open a variety of jars with screw-type lids of sizes ranging from ¼” to 4.5” (from nail polish and glue bottles to family-sized jars). This range covers virtually all typical sizes of lids found in a household. PandaGrip can also open other products with screw-type caps, such as the battery compartment of a flashlight. Because of PandaGrip’s high-strength, flexible band, it can also open non-circular lids.

How do I clean PandaGrip?

PandaGrip can be cleaned by wiping down the surfaces with a damp cloth. Use rubbing alcohol to remove grease/oils. At this time, PandaGrip is not dishwasher safe.

What should I do when the PandaGrip band slips or spins around the lid?

In order to prevent the band from slipping or spinning around the lid, there must be enough contact/pressure between the band and the lid, and between the band and the orange bumper.

Make sure the orange bumper is aligned with the center of the lid and that you apply enough pressure between the orange bumper and the lid…this is what secures the band in place and provides the necessary friction to prevent slippage

Tip: If slipping or spinning is occurring, it may be due a greasy/oily lid, band, and/or orange bumper. Rubbing alcohol can be used to wipe down these surfaces. Lids of jars taken out of the refrigerator can sometimes have moisture which can cause the band to slip or spin.  If that is the case, wipe the lid dry before using PandaGrip

The jar slips from my hands when I try opening it. Any suggestions?

If the jar you are opening is difficult to hold, you can try holding it with a rubber matt or a rubber glove. Alternatively, you can use two PandaGrips…one to hold the jar and the other to unscrew the lid. Just remember if you are opening the jar with two PandaGrips, the PandaGrip that is used for holding the jar needs to be turned upside down.
